Please! We are all very much waiting for this! Even because the 32-bit version is no longer available in VDJ. By the way, I still use VDJ 6 today. Because of the MIXLAB skin and plugins from DONMOIR. MIKDROP FOREVER!

Your shaders are the ---! In addition, they are very inconvenient to manage!

Right.. ;-)
Guess you didnt try...
Obviously Shaders are much more modern and nicer ..

But each to their own, some like cola some pepsi.

Milkdrop is 20 years old, and that says a lot

I studied the possibility of using them in early 2020. Today I came back to this question again. I'm sitting at my computer right now. Downloading shaders.
Main reasons not to use them:
1) Poor handling
2) High CPU utilization
3) an Unexpected decrease in resolution.
4) questions about compatibility with TellyMedia and TellyVisuals

Atomix Productions is also 20 years old.

Atomix may be, but the software isn't. It was completely rewritten for VDJ 8.

SBDJ has converted Milkdrop to 64 bit and has it running (since Oct 2019 - see earlier in the thread). He just hasn't made it available yet.

Totally agree as Groovin knows ...Scot has been the man behind the inport of milkdrop..I've followed up on this since the start...having purchased VDJ6 in 2009..i first was all about Sonique visuals, then came the milkdrop which was under works for some time, finally in VDJ8..now shaders..what people forget its you can use both milkdrop and shader simultaneously!...just set shader's transparency to half way...what you get its more of a 3d effect ..sort of like Morphyre double texture...a must for my techno music..I would volunteer for beta testing but I'm sure Scott has got me in the top of the list ;)

I like both and in some cases milkdrop maybe even more because there are so many out there and great way to customize it!

I agree with everyone on this subject. Definitely the SBDJ effect was much , much better that what ever we got now for true karaoke performance. Please work something out soon!
