SHIFT (SECONDARY) ACTION

1 CROSSFADER
Blends audio signal from the decks assigned as left and right sides of the crossfader.
2 VOLUME
Adjust the Volume
Starts playback when the fader is moved from the minimum (low) position to a different one and stops to Cue position when moved from any position to the minimum (Fader Start/Stop)
3 VU METERS
The LED array indicates the pre-fader Level Output
4 CUE
Send the pre-fader audio signal of the Deck to the Headphones channel (for pre-listening)
5 FILTER
Apply the selected Color FX (Filter by default). When at center position, the Color FX is not applied. The Color FX can be selected from the VirtualDJ GUI.
6 BASS
Adjust the Low (Bass) Equalizer Band
7 MID
Adjust the Mid (Middle) Equalizer Band
8 TREBLE
Adjust the High (Treble) Equalizer Band
9 LEVEL
Adjust the pre-fader Level (Gain)
10 LOAD
Loads the selected track from the Browser to the Left/Right Deck. Double/fast press to clone the track of Left/Right Deck to the other Deck.
Unloads the track from the same Left/Right Deck
11 BROWSE
Scrolls through Folders or Tracks
Push to toggle focus between Folders and Songs List
Set focus to Folders list. If focus is in Folders list, expand collapse sub-folders
12 CUE GAIN
Adjust the Level of the Headphones Output Channel
13 CUE MIX
Send audio signal from the Master Output to the Headphones channel when in MIX (right) position.
Send audio signal from the Decks that have their PFL enabled to the Headphones channel when in CUE (left) position.
Blends the above audio signals when in all other positions.
14 MIC1/LINE AUX SWITCH
* Select whether you want to control the MIC1 input, or the AUX input.
15 MIC1/LINE LEVEL
* Adjust the Volume of the Mic 1 or the AUX Input (connections at the rear panel)
16 MIC1/LINE TONE
Apply a simple single band EQ on the MIC1/LINE Input
17 BOOTH
Adjust the Volume of the Booth Output
18 MASTER
Adjust the Volume of the Master Output


* Note: The Microphone inputs along with the AUX input of the NS4FX are directly routed to the Master Output of the device (hardware operation) and they are not part of the USB Audio interface. Therefore they cannot be recorded, used for broadcasting or controlled in any way from VirtualDJ. The MIC level knobs are not sending any MIDI messages and cannot be mapped to any VirtualDJ actions.
