Now THAT'S funny.

I am not quite as old as AMAHM but I've passed my spring chicken days. I am 40yrs old and have been DJ'ing since I was about 17yrs old. I have used belt drive TT's, Direct drive TT's, Reel to Reel, Cassette tapes, 8 track (never to dj with but for the music) CD players with CD's, VDJ with and without a controller, VDJ with TCV and TCCD's, and straight off the laptop.

I always rock the party no matter what I decide to use. I AM THE DJ AND I AM IN CONTROL OF THE PARTY.

I have had Serato users look at me and say...No way you are DJ'ing from your laptop. I tell em...JUST WATCH.

I have more people amazed at what I am able to do with VDJ. Other DJ's would think that the party is programmed or I am not really DJ'ing. as the night goes on those same DJ's come back to the booth just to watch me do my thing. They realize that I AM DJ'ing LIVE. It is not a mix tape, it is not a programed party, I am not a jukebox.

Serato DJ..........But can you scratch with VDJ

DJ CITY...........I know. That's why I use it. It has features that Serato does not have

Serato DJ.........I wish Serato had some of the effects and samples like VDJ.


Don't let ignorance hold you back. Use whatever is best for YOU.
VDJ is what is best for ME. (so far)

Serato Dj - Do you Scratch
Dj L-Ectric - Only when I Itch
Serato Dj - So you just enter a playlist and monitor it all night
Dj L-Ectric - No I select the music and mix everything live
Serato Dj - How do you match beats with the mouse
Dj L-Ectric - By moving the pitch slider just like your turntable
