I have a numark platinum fx controller. If you know much about it you know it doesn't have a lot of knobs besides the eq high low and mid and maybe a couple more but I have Turnado vst and if you know about this plugin it uses lots of knobs. Right now I'm using the eq knobs on deck 1 and 2 to control it. High eq knob controls slot 1 on turnado deck 1. Ok I have the Turnado also in deck 2. Whenever I turn the eq high knob on deck 1. Slots 1 and two change on both decks. I don't like that I rather have eq high deck 1 control slot 1 on Deck 1 and eq high on deck 2 control slot 1 on the plugin. Is it possible to get this done? Im having issues figuring it out. What's the best way I can map this out? What's the best mapping that I can use?

What script are you using?

I dont know much about scripts. I just went in the mapping settings and made some adjustments Thought I just said the script. I don't know.

you're using a script... unless you're using midi to vst...

I think it's eq high deck 1 1 which controls the spots on turnado slot 1. Something similar to that. Once I get back home I can give the exact one for each mid high and low.

Does slider 1 represent deck 1? When I map deck 2 I use slider 2?
Posted Wed 05 Aug 26 @ 5:45 pm
no,
decks are specified by default at the definition level, as you can see EQ_HIGH is a key name assigned to deck 1 and deck 2 control under a single mapping.
the parameters used in this case are

You understand what I'm trying to do right? I wanna use eq knob high on deck a to control slot 1 in turnado and on deck b eq high knob to control slot 1. I'm gonna have Turnado on both decks.

This my mapping deck 2 effect_slider 3 Eq low

That moves the eq low on both sides though. I need a script for each individual knob. Deck 1 and 2. If that makes sense.

no you don't.

Ok I go to settings then controllers and in key: is EQ_HIGH action is deck 2 effect_slider. It works on deck 2 but how do I set the EQ_high on deck 1 to work for another effect for example flanger on deck 1? is this possible?

I don't have a lot of knobs on this controller to work different effects so I've decided to map the eq knobs to them.
