I recently had audio glitches in VDJ along with audio dropouts... It took 2 reboots to get it straightened out. Serato worked.
Because of all the changes in MIDI, I decided a fresh install was in order. Of course I install only those drivers that are needed and uninstall a bunch of Windows features I'll never use on this laptop. I make it as lean as I can. Outside of Winhance and ParkControl, I only install basic software. Also use High Performance power setting. Forced legacy MIDI and disabled the new midi service.
My question here is: is there anything beyond the VDJ wiki on PC optimization that I should know to improve this even further?
Laptop specs: 13th gen i7 (16 core), 16 GB ram, 4050 GPU, 144hz display.

First, use latencymon to monitor for improvements with each attempt.
It would be best to run a latencymon test after each modification you make.
What worked best for me was:
Disabling the battery ACPI driver.
Disabling the high-precision event handler.
Already included in the wiki, in Device Manager, for all USB devices, disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
Once in VirtualDJ, under Options > Performance,
you can increase the sampling rate to 256 or 512, set Latency to 256, and disable Ultra Latency.
You should also set the screen refresh rate to 60Hz in Windows and 30Hz in VirtualDJ, and ensure you're using the integrated graphics card for VDJ rendering and that the RTX card is focused solely on stems.
I use Windows 10 because, according to the AI, it's easier to disable/control DPCs. Latencymon will tell you what's causing those drops. In my case, the Wi-Fi driver is causing the few DPCs that persist. I suppose turning off Wi-Fi and using an Ethernet cable would eliminate them. Feel free to share your results so the community can benefit from any solutions you find. Remember that optimizations like performance mode or disabling C-states can and should also be done in the BIOS. Finally, I'd like to say I was very satisfied after discussing this problem with chatgpt, providing him with the wiki information, and letting him advise me.
