Done this many time over the past 20 years however just want to know best method. I'm using v2024 b8346, and yes it has been updated however I'm not using those extra toys. My question as I want this new laptop to be a exact clone, should I move the music first,? or should I install vdj first. Is it best to do this from website or copy my program over. At last data files ie playlist etc first or after. Thanks

Update virtualdj on the old computer, since there's probably been some updates to creating backups too, then create a backup

Copy the music to the new computer, install virtualdj from the website on the new computer, and restore the backup.
