How do these people get the bpm from?
Most Of The Time they are off or just wrong.
What Do You Think?

Depends a bit on the music you are playing.. .

By your nickname, perhaps its disco music that is often recorded by live musicians and otherwise dont have a steady bpm to be used?

And you can also try using the variable bpm function in the BPM editor to see if that gets things better (for songs that have different "parts" with different bpm)

Thanks Rune. But I'm Talking about ON LINE BPM search.

You can search online but doubt it helps.. Variable bpm is variable bpm.
And live musicians dont play perfectly...

The BPM in VirtualDJ is not from some catalog or online, but rather from analyzing the song

Have an example of a song perhaps?

https://songbpm.com/ | https://getsongbpm.com/tempo | https://tunebat.com/Search | https://www.bpmdatabase.com/music/search/ etc etc etc..

Can give the above a quick test, I doubt it will help much and only be an average ish bpm same to VDJ

Better off trying the BPM editor or Tap the beat in VirtualDJ most likely.
Try that also ;-)

I think what he means is that he's using one of the built in online streaming services, and is searching for a track by entering a BPM.

@philadisco you should try and give more information when you post. Explain what you're doing (or trying to do).

Why bother? You can tap it into VDJ.

I also have an app (liveBPM) on my phone that gives a readout within seconds.

I am not that problem
Sometimes it's not a good recording, you have to multiply the BPM by x2 manually in the Tag editor
