So to update anyone who wants to use syphon with other apps ( and also to my future self for reference)
Syphonserver8: this is the working plugin as of this date
Using version vdj 2023....build 7921
Note: Unlike before you had to turn off the "Use Experimental Metal engine" in the performance options, for this plugin to work, this option was modified/removed.
The New way is still under options, type "metal".....'Use OpenGL' should appear with a pre-check "No".......Select it to "Yes" and restart vdj. Activate Syphonserver8 on whatever deck you want, go to your respective app ie resolume /mix emergency/ etc.....there should be an incoming VirtualDJ Syphon Signal to use.
