I am using a Pioneer DDJ1000 and last night I noticed something very strange happen when playing a 3 hour set.
Deck 1 had an echo which sounded kid and effect when I played certain songs. So for instance, I loaded A track, pressed play and in the headphones u could hear the background overlay of the background of the song being played on top of the normal version of the same song.
When you loaded the same track into deck 2 it was fine which eliminates the track being faulty.
I quickly rebooted virtual Dj.. and it was done.
The volume and low frequency response was also compromised.
Please look into this.

I'm not sure what "... and it was done." meant, but I'm wondering if you had an effect assigned to Deck 1.

Or perhaps you have enabled some Mix FX (Nr.6) http://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/mixer/audio.html
