Topic: Map different sound effects to different buttons

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Does anybody have any idea of how to map a sound effect to a controller button?

Example: Echo to a particular controller button, reverb to a different controller button - not just map one controller button to toggle the selected sound effect.

Hi there, which controller are you using?

Please check this thread: https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/213667/Hardware_Technical_Support/Re-Mapping_part_of_Behringer_CMD_DV-1.html

I hope to issue a re-hashed control map for the Behringer CMD DV-1 soon, it can handle 3 FX slots per deck (4 actually, but l am going to keep 1 slot per deck in reserve for video FX and video transition FX respectively), with up to 6 parameters per FX. I'll announce it on that thread when it's done (if ever).

You should then be able to take over the Action codes ("scripts") and use them on your own controller.

While I am old school when in comes to djing I am trying out with the behringer cmd series set up of 2 pl , 1 mm as controller and 1 dv for effects . Is there anyone here successfully mapping this set up as a stand alone set up? I wonder where audio out put goes out and how to monitor cued tracks apart from the laptop
