really nice sounds on this one.
i've doodled with the sound settings and so the sound quality is much better than moonscape 4.
also the tracks were much more forgiveing and so the transitions are much better.
it's a mix dedicated to the variability of Bass, and i'm sure that you people are gonna love it. it's a floorbanger!
i'm not gona comment the tracks on this one, because i whant to see what you people think of it first.

really love all tracks. every song is great, very nice selection, a wonderful trip. A perfect mix as usual...

but I have to disagree with your point of view about this is a "floorbanger" mix. I think progressive is for your soul and for relaxing, not for dancing.
about the transitions, do you use the bass eq? because the sound is sometimes overdrived. but with one mouse its very difficult :)

thanx for the very nice review. it seems that U're the only one on this forum that apreciates my work.
about the transitions, i definately use the eq offcourse. but it's highly dificult to mix without a mixer because it's imposible to be in 2 places at the same time without a mixer. it's an adrenaline rush mixing like this and U have to make the best out of your situation .but i've observed that the small imperfections that occur while mixing like this are detectable only if U have finely trained ears like ours and if U use headphones. on the speakers and on the ears of "mortals", these imperfections are almost undetectable. if i add the fact that people are dancing at that moment and not makeing auditions, these imperfections are, comercially irelevant :) . so i'm pretty happy with my level at this point, given the equipment handicap that i have.
one day i'll be getting a mixer and the transitions are gona get even better until i'll hopefully reach that awesome point of absolute "john digweed" seamlessness :)) . so dont worry. the best is still to come.

+ ATB - Humanity, andre is one of my favourites. but its short :(

+ all the other songs I dont mention in the - are cool
- the song at 6 min, I dont really like this disco style but the song after it is great!
- tiesto - traffic well its not a bad one but its such a commercial song! but if you play it for the crowd they go mad, I suppose :-S
3 suggestions for you: USE HEADPHONES and DONT WORK WITH RADIO EDITS, and dont start to mix so early (traffic - adagio for strings) the melodies collide with each other.
my overall impresiion about your mix is good.
dont be angry for me for the negative part i just want to give you some advice to improve your mixing

i've listened to your mix thoroughly.
nice to finally have a release courtesy of mister cooldj.
now about it:
nice tracks verry energetic. good for a party in my opinion.
about the tehnical aspect of it:
the transitions are a bit sloppy. i see that u didnt use prelistening and thats understandable. it's like playing tenis in the dark. but still U have to work more on them.
the number one rule is: don't USE the equaliser....ABUSE it :)) especially for us guys who dont have the benefits of prelistening, the equliser should be used every second througout the entire transition.
try to be more exact with the moment U enter into a song and the moment U exit, because thats an example of professionalism. i't lookes that U are realy preocupied with the song. i'm not telling U to make verry long 1-2 minute transitions like i do. everybody has his tehnique and his likes and disikes, but make the transition in fixed number of beats (24,48,96....), that way your mix gets a boost of profesionalism. and i understand that its hard to do this when u have radio edits of the songs. so try to get club mixes versions of that song that has a long intros and outros with only the percution, and that helps U build up your transition. other thant that thanx again for the mix and were looing forward to another release of......ICEMIX ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^

thanx for ur advice .. i will work on the prelistening.. ( but the problem is that i got abuot 3000 new tracks in a week ..) so it will take me some time.... but about the eq. should i practice in it .. or should i just mix with the cross fadder ???? thanx alot
