First of all Fruit, thanks for the skin. It's all you could ever want in a skin. My question is about the "save" option. What exactly gets retained when you "save." I make a lot of customizations and it seems like when I start the program I have to re-select some options. Thanks in advance... really appreciate the work!!!

The double height works fine. I didn't see it before. You could also make the font a bit smaller and put only elapsed and remain in the same spot without double height.

PS again. Also I noticed that when double height is engaged that the show_music and show_video buttons disappear.

This item's purpose is to write the vdj options in settings.xml, what is actually done when you close the software only. I use it because I sometimes crash when working on my skin. I let it here in case it could be usefull to others.
Most of the states of the skin will remain when closing/opening the software, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions were a choice of me, for example, I don't want users to start the program and not see the title/artist and be forced to search what option they triggered last night when they were drunk (lol).
But some of them will anyway remain in 0.5, mainly, the vu-meters color, the cover if on wheel, key info in deck's screen.

It happens here too. I believe it's just because the browser area is made smaller.
The vertical icons are a problem when there is only a small browser height because they either disappear or they sit on top of each other.
I have mentioned this many times but Atomix don't seem to care. The buttons are better placed along the top bar of the browser.
The best solution would be to offer the user a choice of left/right/top/bottom like the Windows task bar.

This is not as simple I believe :)
I have to check at home to confirm that, but :
- At the VERY FIRST launch of vdj, those icons are not present !
- They pop up only if you go to the browser menu above the font size buttons and choose on of the items 'show music only', 'show video only', 'show karaoke only'. AFAIK those buttons won't ever disappear, even if you uncheck all three items.
- When in my skin you change the stance to show double-height forms, then it brings to you a brand new fresh browser. You may have noticed that the side panels were to set again, as well as the panel that shows covers above the filelist. The jukebox views behave the same, it brings two fresh new browsers.
So in my skin there are 5 browsers and all of them have their own settings / pos. You just have to re-check one of the three menu items in each. Then it would show the buttons. Not sure it is an intended behavior, or the 'not showing icons at first launch' is a bug.

So I'm at home now and just checked :

As soon as you check one of the items 'show music', 'show video', or 'show karaoke', buttons will appear.
They will remain until you :
- uncheck all three items
- close / relaunch vdj
Then they will pop up again once you check one item.
Each browser has its own properties / states so the above is to be considered for EVERY browser of my skin.

But I found someone who has a 1920x1080 screen I'll check there to be sure, but it will be in two weeks...
Did you try to check an item WHILE you don't see the buttons (let's say in fullscreen mode) ?
I ask this because, imo this is a bug : the menu stills always show the same items checked, BUT checking one of them would make the buttons appear (but you're right if the window is too small they disappear, but the window has to be ridiculously small in height). Can you confirm ou infirm this please ?

OMG I forgot a line in changelog...
I changed the behavior of this button because I read that some guys don't want the doubleclick feature.
So, to instant-reset the pitch you now have to hold RIGHT for 2sec.
Erf and left click won't do anything now :( that's a bug :(
