well thats your opinion

Not just his. I count 5 users so far in this thread who agree with him.

Currently it's only you who disagrees. Atomix should be open to suggestions for improvements, not fighting against them.

what part of edit in field might come did you not read?

oh well

Yes I know you said "might"......but you've been putting up a lot of resistance. Every post that's "for", you're posting "against".

If Pros and Exp Pros (even VIPs) are making suggestions for improvements, you should be more receptive to them.

nope not at all against anything ;)

just disagreeing with your statement that its redundant . .thats all ;)

Of course its not, its rather opposite.. its a very useful info field, popular in many media players ;)

(sure it might /might not have more features.. but thats not disagreed on at all..)

And most welcome to post new wishes of course:

I didn't say it was totally redundant.....just pretty (meaning 'slightly') redundant.

It duplicates info that can be seen elsewhere - in the tag editor or the browser fields. It doesn't have any unique function.

The info tab for me on a 11" mac air, is valuable space. That little bit of space makes a difference. Even on my 13" macbook pro the tab is annoying hiding the panel isn't enough completely removing the tab would be better, as far as functionality it seems kinda useless to me you can't edit and you have to open it to preview a song, why make it so we have to open to prelisten then close again because those of us with smaller screen need the space. Put the preview player next to the search bar and give us the option to completely hide the info tab,

The other thing I noticed and maybe its just me, when im at the club spinning its dark when i'm using the mouse to scroll I through my songs, I sometimes lose the scroll tab when its next to the sideview tab , they are both the same color its a small annoyance but something I felt worth mentioning.

See I use the info section differently.

My browser section has Artist, Title, BPM, length and sometimes key depending on gig. Everything else I have in the info panel. Some times I hide it, other times it's out all the time. Everyone will use it different. I know some people that don't use sampler or playlists, does that mean we should lose side view? Of course it doesn't. The users can hide side view or the info panel if they don't use it.

The point about valuable screen space, I 100% understand and agree with. If you don't have room you will hide it. But that is probably true if it was the editor too.

The editor is a great idea and I too hope it gets implemented in the future. But it will take time. The bugs and freezes need ironing out first for those that are Affected by these issues.

All Im asking is give us the option to completely remove the info tab if we dont want to see it

click the tab to close it..
while its not completely removed, its not displayed, and thats pretty much same thing (and takes close to no space at all)

It is closed and to me its not the same thing on a 11" screen that little closed tab takes up valuable space

Time for a bigger screen bro.........
