Daz, remember he said the sound is fine when he uses the mic sockets - so the PSU must be alright.

Just covering all the bases.
@ Blu. Can use Skype. Just be aware that I am 3 hrs ahead of the UK time wise. The internet speed out here is also rather slow so video can be iffy. Will send you my Skype details via PM. If we get it sorted we can come back to the Forum to post the result :-)

Oh BTW Blu. The audio ground can be picked up by hooking one test probe to the outer connection on any of the RCA Jacks.
The power supply check is just the Techie fault finding equiv of making sure the plug is in lol. It sucks to spend ages fault finding, only to discover that the basics were wrong ;-) If the power supply is all good its one more possibility ruled out and its an easy check to make :-D
