Topic: Flawless video output

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have been playin videos with my laptops for many years, but theres one thing I cant solve out. When I put a new song to a deck, the video on the 2nd screen freeze, about 1-2 milli second. I know that nobody notice this other than me because it only happens on that moment, when I switch videos, but is this normal. I have 1 Dell XPS M1730 gamerslaptop (1 GB Nvidia videocard) & my new laptop is Aliensware 18,2 (3.2 ghz Core i7, 2 x 1,5GB Nvidia video, 16 gb ram). Both have win7 and I can play 7-??? hours without problem. My new laptop working CPU is 5-8% with VDJ. I have tried all kind of registry settings and tweaking to get the video output 100% but now I'm asking for your advise.

It only does it on your monitor, not the output to the guest, is that correct? I have a six year old desktop, and as long as it's on my monitor, I don't care.

Its on the monitor, video output. Im trying to record my video mixes for a TV station, but this small freese happen every time I put new song to the deck that is not playin. I think it is because the videocard is dumpin out the played video and loading the new one in.
