The MC3000 DJ controller from Denon DJ is an affordable professional MIDI controller for Virtual DJ and packaged with Virtual DJ LE.

4 Deck control and a high-quality internal soundcard at an affordable price means the new MC3000 Professional DJ Controller is suited for both the Bedroom DJ as well as those wanting to move onto a more professional setup. Featuring the Layer Function for Dual Deck and 2+2 4-channel mixer control manages to keep functionality but maintain an uncluttered and ergonomic layout.



Line to master gives the option of 2 analog line input mixing control so a variety of external players can be connected and used alongside a Mac® or Windows PC – great for handing over to the next DJ after a set without interrupting the flow of music.

Ya know what I'd like to see is a version of this or the 6000 that doesn't have a soundcard built-in. I'd imagine it would drive down the cost plus a lot of us already have soundcards, this goes for all controller manufacturers ;-)

I am interested in a controller so that I only use 4 decks with 2 decks is enough for me

A bypass switch would be better.

Only one mic input, jack only, with no EQ.

Not much use for the majority of mobile DJs (i.e. the type of DJ that this size unit suits).

Shame.

Well if your using VDJ then its no trouble, lol! I think Numark did it right with the Mixtracks (having a soundcard, not having a soundcard)........

At half the price of an MC6000 would have been understandable. But at almost the same price (you can get a used MC6000 for $600) i really dont see the point of this.

Me neither. The feature set is far too limited compared to the 6000 to justify the price.

I dont think its the 3700's big brother. It starts out with SC isntead of DN-S3700. I think its a compact controller.

I love Denon products esp. my DN-X1600 (when I use turntables on gigs). But for midi controllers, MC6000 and MC3000 are a little bit small for the layout I got used to. I started with Total Control, 'didn't like the size and went for Xponent (sold them both), later on got a Mixdeck, and recently bought the NS6 after a long study/comparison of all the 4decks controllers. Now I am happy and contented with my NS6.

I hope I could use these units for at least a year before they (midi-controller companies) could think of new features that would attract me to upgrade again.

Let's wait and see what will come out at NAMM...

I don't think so either.

I've been waiting patiently for Denon to release a successor to the HS5500, but this looks more like a souped up SC2000.

People seem to be suckered in by the use of 3900 in the name, thinking it will be a 12" motorised platter or something - but
it's not so easy to judge size by the pic. It's probably really small.
