DHoude/ East Coast.... or anybody interested! I think I may have found my problem to my NS7 skipping. My Wi-Fi may have been interfering with my USB ports. When I disabled my wi-fi I didn't hear the skip. I'll try it out for a couple of days to be sure.

In a way you are probably right. Poorly written wifi drivers will tie up extra CPU time, which spikes your latency (time it takes to process new computer instructions). Latency can be measured with DPC Latency checker and with your wifi on you will probably see spikes into the red with that tool. So not really "intefering with USB" per say, more like consuming more computer resources to the point that it effects other things like VDJ and live music playback.
If you had not tried this in the past, I do suggest you have a read through basic performance tweaks for your system to run Virtual DJ. We assume most have already done that step, but turning off your wifi is defiantly in there. You are not the only one with this issue for sure.
Also increasing you ASIO buffer in the Numark control panel (not the VDJ one) mentioned earlier could fix this too.

New to DJ'ing. I have Virtual DJ 8 and just purchased a used NS7 with the itch emblem. I downloaded the driver for ns7 & installed it. All I get Is Sound thru my ns7, no control of software at all. VDJ8 show's it in audio settings:card; but doesn't show it as a connected controller. went to compatible controllers selected ns7 still no response.

I had the same issue with Numark's Win 10 driver 2.9.65. I was able to use the Win 7 driver 2.9.55 on Win 7 or 10 amd got my control back.
By any chance, would you live in CT? I just sold my NS7...

djdad dont have itch, I bought the ns7 from a dj my brother knows. i already had vdj8 before I bought the ns7.
DHoude naw I live in AZ. Ill try the driver 2.9.55 see if it works.im running with win10. I already tried driver 2.9.65, last night got no change in control ability.
My Presonus audiobox shows right up in settings-controllers when I plug it in but Ns7 doesn't. it only appears in setting in Audio under Cards

Lol, such a coincidence as I sold mine last Friday. Either way, just uninstall 2.9.65 first. Reboot and install 2.9.55. I assure you it will work. I have had the same experience with 2.9.65 on many PCs. Sound, no midi control. Honestly I wonder if it worked for anyone.

Shame Numark has made some bad decisions lately with my NS7 III. No more Numark for me after this. But I still have a ton of experience with the NS7 on about 10 different PCs on Win 7 & 10.
