Steve Sharp (Hercules rep) came up with a simple solution.
2" light grade aluminum angle available at the local metal shop works great for this.
The RMX is 15" wide, add the 2 pieces of 2" angle on each side and chazam, ears and a 19" rack mount.
Not only that but they match the brushed aluminum front of the RMX.

That would be great if in fact the RMX was 15" wide. But in reality the RMX is actually only 14" wide. So I guess I would need 2 1/2" light grade aluminum angle?
