Topic: M-Audio Fast Track Pro Issue on 64Bit

So I've got myself a brand new laptop; Toshiba Satelite P300 64Bit, 4 gigs of ram. Nist little unit.

Here's my problem:

Installed VDJ 5.2.1- no problem

Installed Dac 2 Drivers- won't work but I think it's 64bit related as my other brand new vista 32bit lappy works fine.

installed M-Audio drivers then went online to get 64bit drivers. Uninstalled old drivers, put in new.

Fire up VDJ and I get the dreaded *Error in the ASIO Driver* promt .


WTF?

Any ideas?

Normally that just means VirtualDJ has detected something is not quite right in your sound setup.
 
Try updating DirectX 9 August 2008 edition and reinstall drivers.
 
Downloaded new direct-x drivers- same issue.
 
Then it must be a problem in 64bit drivers, can you use 32bit system to try your sound card?
