I would highly recommend the M AUDIO X-SESSION MIDI MIXER
http://www.m-audio.ca/index.php?q=X-SESSION&do=search
Can be found from $89 to $99...
Made of plastic but it works well for normal mixing and beatmixing but I wouldn't recommend it for the heavy scratchers out there.
Got one and I like it a lot for the basics of mixing, etc...
DJ TAO :)

i can recommend the RMX i do a bar/pub work regularly on a Friday and a Church club hall on a Sunday great piece of kit at an affordable price.
it works great with VDJ, the only draw back is the lack of lights on the buttons the blue light is really cool, and its a shame that it hasn't got a full lighting effect, but other than that thumbs up!

From experience I love the rmx, but if you are going to buy one be prepared to buy an eq or battle mixer to go with it. The gain, high, mid, and low knobs are so sensitive that I am going to place again, either an eq or another mixer between it and my speakers just to have another, quicker, less sensitive, more accurate way to adjust sound quality.

Yo can anybody help me??
I have 2 numark tt1626 direct drive tables and a cheap numark mixer. I also have virtual DJ. I want to use timecoded vinyl to scratch the mp3's I play on virtual dj on my table. How exactly would I go about doing this? I am a beginner so bare with me. I know I need a soundcard (what kind, which one) what else do I need? Help...please?
