Topic: Video problem

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

The venue I work at got a new computer this week. I have never had a problem with plugging my hard drives in and working, but this week was the exception. Every time I would play a video it would only play for about 10 seconds and then freeze. The only way to stop the freeze was to drag a video into the unused deck. Anything I am missing? Their computer is a 15" XPS from Dell M1530.

how much ram you have..always good to have at least 3 gb of rams, helps you run software smoother

It has 4 gb ram and a 256 video card

Which version do you use?
You should update to the latest, DirectX also and see if there is newer drivers for that laptop.

What's the vid vard model?

Hm, what? Explain better please.
