my guess is either the customer service got horrible feedback..like denon dj forum, or they just decided that virtual dj forum is more than enough ground to cover their software / hardware issues.

i don't know for sure .. but it's the only logic behind it.

that's my 2 cents.

Considering it was a weekend, and their European team was at BPM and the US people rarely work on weekends...I'd say two days is not bad....
 
Dear All,

The forums have not been disabled permanently we are currently performing repairs and upgrades to it.

We felt that the forums as they currently are setup were not serving the user base effectively, in terms of their organization and structure and features.

When the forums where first created some technologies included in many popular forums was not available.

We are reevaluating the forum software we’ve been using, which has been particularly susceptible to all sorts of spam bots which we do not wish to expose our users to.

There are many great features which we may wish to provide in the future to users, which our current systems do not support.

We have disabled access to our forums for the short term so we can perform the clean up and upgrade.

We believe in constant improvement to our website to ensure it is best meeting the needs of our customer base.

This is similar to the recent improvement of the Virtual DJ website in which nice new features where added and improved security.

He should also get his broken caps-lock key fixed and probably buy the software..
 
and i thought it was cause they were tired of everyone asking for a release date on the NS7.

yup that's two post today that i mentioned wanting an ns7 lets see how many more and still keep it relevant

Actually its getting pretty old right about now.
 
am fed up hearing about the ns7 release date or not, jeez why keep mentioning it when there is none to talk about

i just hope that wait is worth it, i cant wait to go to the store and pick mine up (and also for them to make it native with vdj...but mappin would do for now i guess...as long as i get it!)

The whole website is currently being redesigned including the forums to make it more modern and user friendly.
 
my apologies Sky ...... I shoulda shut up ....
