Topic: Thinking about lights

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I was thinking about getting lights for shows at some point in the future. I'm not good enough to warrant having them yet, but I'm wondering what you guys have in terms of suggestions - what I should have my eyes peeled for on craigslist and the like :)

If there's some guide out there that I can look at, that's be great. I've read and know about how DMX works, but not what equipment I should be looking for.
