Ok ive been using VDJ for a while but never really got into it until now. I am looking to dj mostly as a hobby but also to do house parties for my friends. I love music and wanna take it to the next step and actually learn how to properly dj. Long story short ive already ordered my hercules dj console rmx and i have VDJ pro so wat else?

For small purpose jobs and home mixing your all set. If you plan to do house parties, ask the person hosting to provide a good sound system...that way you do not have to lug everything around...all you would need is some RCA cables your lappy and the RMX

Perfect. Also one more thing which is better-Using the actual timecode vinyl to scratch or would the hercules be the best bet. I wanna start practicing my scratching.

Personaly I don't think the RMX is good for scratching because the jogs are not touch sensative. If you wanna controler to scratch with you might want to consider something with touch sensative jogs like the vestax vci 100 though you'd need a soundcard also with the vestax;^]

Timmy is correct..or buy some CD players, or turntables, and go time code option.
