I'm well versed at recording to mp3 (audio) and I've seen and read how to record to video, but I am lost as to what codec I have to have in order to do so. It simply says it can not find the codec and will not do anything. Help please. I have Media Player 11 if that matters/helps at all.

mp4... what version are you using, as it should come down with the latest edition 5.2.1... i think, lol

I'm using 5.2.1 but the user manual for VDJ5 says that the codec comes from Media Player, but I guess I'm not finding it or know which one I need to get.

I've seen this topic some times now, and nobody actually gets a decent answer that works for all.. Please, can someone show me a good tutorial how to record video? Or at least make a fix that just let me hit the record button, and it works!?
