Im wondering if anyone knows of any good and inexpensive isolators? Nothing like Dope Real, I don't want to spend that kind of cash right now, due to this 1930's depression we're in, know what I mean?
Anyway, I just want somethiing decent to mess around with, 3way would be cool though. So, let me know if you got any ideas,
Thanks in advance

Hey Mate no-one told me the 1930s dewhatsit was over. I realy need to take a break from mixin and lift my head up from the desk every once and a while.
Vestax make a nice little unit thats been around for afew years so you might pick up a second had one. As an alternatave if you gan get your hands on a second hand 3way electronic crossover with good control range (normaly used to split up the signals for driving separate bass mid and top cabs) and get a local shop to Knock up a cable to re -combine the separated outputs back into a stereo signal you will have the very same thing as a killer.
One final cheepee alternative would be the Behringer DJX700 mixer which retails new for less than the cost of most killers and has 3 band kill switches and also 3 band kill eqs.
Have fun and dont get too depressed.
It is 2008 after all

Try this web address. It will show you what the new unit looks like. I think the older one was gold in color but will do the same job. Its half 19" rak width and 1U high so if the recession ever ends you can fit two into your rack without taking up too much space ( 1 for each deck and have some serious fun.) check out ebay and see what you can find.
