just found a software programme called driver detective to update all my drivers anybody heard of this before

No I haven't, but becareful, when drivers are concerned, some people alter and change them, to get them to work with different models, them post them as originals.

So make sure you get them from the manufactures on site.

Please could you post a link to this site so we can see if it legit or not.
