Just got this software tonight. Wow, I'm buying it. My question is for you veterans out there, how would I transition from a faster to a slower song/ vice a versa without making the tempo change apparent? I gradually creep up the speed after I sync it. Is this the right way?

I would strongly suggest buying the product. That way your assured that you are able to use every feature, as well as becoming part of a strong helpful community!!!
Yeah that would be one of the most common ways. If you need to creep it quicker I sometimes add an effect over the top of it (one that wouldn't necessarily have to stay in time) eg. flange or like a high filter wash.
Also if you adjust your keyboard shortcuts you can make a couple of keys (really slow to fastish) that would change the tempo. Then you could just hold down the key on the keyboard to increase it slowly.
The greatest thing bout this software is that there is always a workaround to solve the problem.
