This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi all, i just bought the a new DJ Console RMX and now using VDJ 5.2 demo.

Besides .mpg, .avi, .wmv, and quicktime, I cannot get VDJ to see .m2v, .mkv, or .vob when I highlight the directory folder (it's just blank). Has anyone try to come up wtih a solution for this?

also,

Which video cards works better on laptops, ATI or Nvidia? Currently I see static lines going across the screen on the TV and Monitor output. I think if i upgrade to a better video card it will fix it. Right now my video card is an old ATI 128 shared memory.

and

5.2 demo does not allow me to specify the 1-6 fx buttons other than showing that it is activated, if I upgrade to the pro version will this let me re-assigned them?

thanx for help.

With regards to the file issue, you need to add the extensions on the codec tab, and point them to a relevant video decoder such as "Windows Media Video Decoder".

Then they will show up and be playable :)
