Topic: External decks and mixer set up help needed

Hi there

I broadcast an internet radio show every week using VDJ and just got some hardware to use.

I am using:-

2x Denon DN-S3000 CD Turntables
1x Pioneer DJM-300 Mixer
2x Virtual DJ Time Code CD's
1x Maya 44 USB Sound Card

Got everything rigged up and sounding good but when i used VDJ to broadcast i found out that my mixer wasn't controlling the crossfader!!


Can anyone offer me any advice or help?

because you are using an external mixer rather than using the internal mixer - what you are broadcasting is the internal mixer's sound - not whats coming out of your external mixer. and because the mixer isnt midi it wont control anything on screen.
