I just been playing on my mates PCDJ VJ setup and I been thinking this.
Since PCDJ VJ has been developed in partnership with VirtualDJ. I was wondering if the Database structure and the way it reads the files the same as how VirtaulDJ does it, or is it totally different.
Basically I want to know, will PCDJ VJ will read my files and DB on my External harddrive.

try taking copy of your xml file across with it jim and see if that works... just a guess

It does, you just have to rename the xml so PCDJ recognises it as its own.

hi guys, this is my first post here.i have purchased pcdjfx which i will be using for all my gigs,the question is i have been messing around with it on my desktop loading my 20,000 plus karaoke and 30,000 plus audio tracks to get the feel of it but what i need to know is can i transfer the db over to the laptop i will be using to gig with so i dont need to do it all over again? if so how do i identify which folder it is hope someone can help regards paul hull uk
