Topic: Deleting Music Data Base??

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am wondering how do to a clean wipe out of my muisc data base - then a rescan. . . I looked through the manual and either didn't see it or it's not in there.

any help is most welcomed.

I don't understand why you would want to do that but...

If you want to wipeout the entire database you go to the database and delete it. when you open VDJ again it will create a new database from scratch.

If you want th wipeout the search database, simply rightclick on the drive you want to delete, then click delete. You can then rescan that drive.

NO!!!!! DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!


It will delete the entire contents of the drive.....
 

What about, just doing a Re-scan.

I meant remove from search database.
