Hey all,
wondering if someone could give me a quick run down on proper use of the clone deck feture?
the main problem im havin is that i have assigned it to a midi button on my Nuo4 running along with TCV- when i press the button it seems to randomly choose which deck to clone.
Say i have one track playin aloud and i want to clone that to my cue deck i thought i would just press the clone deck button, but it doesnt always choose the deck thats playin loud to clone, most of the time it clones the deck i have in cue which plays major havoc for my sets....
Is there something im missing in setup of this feature?

I use the clone deck feature as I mainly have my set up with just 1 cdj 1000mk3. I have 2 midi buttons on my djm 800 set to clone decks. One button clones from deck 1 and the other clones from deck 2. That way I can choose which one is going to be cloned. Otherwise if you leave it on default than it will depend on which deck is the 'highlighted'one as to which gets cued.

yeah thats problaly your problem in the midi interfact when you select the clone deck fecture and asign a button to it theres a drop down list that says 'active deck' or 'deck1' and 'deck2' ive made this mistake quite a lot as your cued deck is the active deck! just reopen it and change it to what deck you want ;)
