Has anyone figured a work around for Vista's sound layout? For those that don't know, Vista doesn't allow you to record the audio being played through the speakers unless A) You use an 1/8" male to male connector from the headphone jack to the line in or B) On some sound cards, you can get a Wave Out Mix by showing hidden options in the Control Panel.
I am one of the unlucky souls that has a soundcard in which the drivers haven't been developed (that I know of at least) to allow Wave out mixing and honestly the idea of having cables hanging off the front of my laptop just bugs me.
