In addition to configurating the 6+6 buttons can I reconfigure the search buttons ( |< , >| ) right below it? I could have better use for it since its a little separated from the others, like loop in and loop out. If not how hard would it be to remap the RMX controller?

i dont know if it is hard to remap it , but if they do ,it would be great , because im working on a new skin for the rmx , and that can be very helpfull for all users .

I had thoughts on this subject a while back when I first tried mapping my BCD3000. What would be really useful would be if you enabled the general midi control at the same time as enabling any of the built in controller support, that the general midi map acted as an override.
That way no matter which controller you were using, if you enabled your own configured GM map on the top even for only a certain few key functions, it would give every user the ability to tailor any of the controllers to behave exactly as they wanted.
Just a thought.
