Topic: time code theory?

hey all...
i want to see if i understand this correctly.....
If i put in a timecode cd to my DN3000, to my mixer, to my MIC in port on my pc, will that allow VDJ to run control by my deck? (i understand that 2 decs means 2 sound card etc...)

but is my theory correct?

No, sorry you need an ASIO soundcard..here look at this...

theres a gap... but nothing else?
 
 
or you can conect it to a line in port (if you have one or on a USB soundcard) a mic in is no good as the signal is rubbish, most people have a MAYA 44 which is quite cheap at about 65 british pounds, which has RCA inputs and outputs.
