Topic: Resolution 1024 x 768 vs 800 x 600

With my laptop I have still some (little) freezing probs when I load a vid while the other one is playing.
I was thinking that it maybe could be solved by bringing the resoution down to 800 x 600 instead of 1024 x 768.
My question is: Do you see a big difference on a plasma screen?

Anthony, this is still the Nvidia issue (if you using a 8600 GT for example) ! Only if I conect with a projector I set the second monitor output to 800x600.
Also I noticed that avi and mpg files load without any issues.

Try setting the ouput to Medium quality and leave the desktop at high quality. I actually set my output to 720X480 as that is what the VOBs are.

My output is the same as the desktop resolution (1024 x768).
Gonna change it and test it next weekend.
