Here's a Good One Maybe I just don't see it.

HOW DO I CLEAR THE PLAYED SONG LIST AT THE START OF A SHOW.
THE SONGS I PLAY THE NIGHT BEFORE ARE SHOWING UP PLAYED.
CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT I'VE PLAYED AND HAVE NOT PLAYED ?
PLEASE HELP

uuhhh not sure i'm getting this ......when i shut down at the end of the night the playlist is gone unless i save as a playlist

so the next day when i boot up and launch the sftwr the playlist isn't there .....

i use a keyboard shortcut , z in my case , to clear the playlist and f to clear the sidelist

do you want a filter folder to tell you what you played the last couple days ?

tryin ' to hep , but confused at the moment chuck ....
 
Not sure if this helps or not but will throw it out there:

When I play i usually play all my "hits" to build the floor then after a certain time I tell myself to "start again" and allow myself to repeat songs I've already played. (I hate repeating songs) I can right-click red flagged songs and then "Remove Played Flag" so I can play them again one more time during the set.

Also if you close VDJ and open it up, and say, search by BPM - you will usually get the songs most recently played - unless you have changed the settings in DJ Cel's Registry Tool.
 
jeez, thought it was bad enough someone using caps, but that is silly... jim you don't need a lifebuoy do you, coz that is certainly overboard...lol

uuuh Tayla i don't get it ....how can he have the same list again ? is he talking about the history ?
 
think we must have the same specs then, had to take mine off the screen went out of focus...lol
 
It may just require a better memory
 
hi chuck mate, to be honest not quite sure what he is on about, but will take a guess, the only fields that come up with what i played the session before come up in the browser and not the side or play list, and to get rid of this history i just type in a new song in search or adjust the bpm's and everything just starts a fresh, hope i got that right, been a long two days for me very little sleep and not much prospect of having much in the next few days, i got the grandson arriving tomorrow (only see him a few times a year) so gonna have some fun time while he is here... can't wait, he is magic

Running VDJ 5.2

I play all night Friday night and then Saturday night when i show up the Songs i played Fri are Still RED on the right of the screen
It\'s like the the song have been played I have trun off the laptop every night and still the have been play Red dot are still there ?
Do you understand Now ?
 
umm... the graphic you show in the picture represents the tracks that are not within your current playing song's bpm range based on your pitch setting ... ORANGE dot with a marked out equals (=) - that is not the 'played track' symbol.

The icon you are looking for is a RED dot with an 'X' in it.

Take a look at all the symbols for the default skins on page 11 of the User's Manual
 
I would suggest using s different skin . e.g. DJ Formats MixLab Series - the icons are much clearer.

DJ_JAMIN_JIM..... no matter what you read on the PLAYBOY advisor size doesn't matter.
Large billboard size fonts require me to take of my reader glasses and stand 15 feet from the monitor to read it.
