Topic: DVI resolution question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

If I set my NEC 1065 projector to project a 120" Diagonal image at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600, will a 50 ft. DVI cable maintain the quality of the picture or will I need to get a booster or use a different type of cable.

I am trying to figure out which cable to use to get the best quality picture on the 120" screen

I am using 50ft of VGA cable at the club from my laptop and its been fine, if you were wanting to bring the cable length up to 100ft or more u may need a signal amp.
