I just got this error.......error in sound driver of direct x.........does anyone know how to fix this?? thanks Bob

It would be my guess that you need to update to the latest directx. Click here.

Or do you use a controller or some sort. If so check, you config settings. You could have unplugged the controller without deactivating it first when you ended you last session.

I unpluged the USB and then pluged it into another USB spot.. and it worked, don't know why...just glad I don't get the error now.. Thanks for all the help!! Bob
