Topic: Play Song and show a seperate video

Hi

I wondered if anybody know's how to play a normal song (no video) on the left dec but show like an advert on the video screen. I am using the right dec for karaoke songs so i can't fade in the video from the right dec because i am already using this dec for the karaoke. It's just when nobody is singing and just the music is playing i want to be able to show adverts on the screen.

there are a few of ways you could do this, slideshow, show logo and clipbank, SBDJ (scott) has made some great plug ins updates for slideshow and scrolling text but you will only have access to these if you purchase vdj. if your using a jpg image use slideshow and show logo and an avi or mpg use clipbank all these effects must be activated before they will work, to activate go to effects situated just above your browser window open > video effects > activate your selection and go to the folder where you have your jpg or mpeg files and select.
 
Thanks very much. I am purchasing VDJ next week when i get some funds through. Once i have purchased it where am i able to get these extra plug in's and wot would they do?
 

There is a download section, I don't know you can see it, if you are a Non license User,

In this download section there is a shit load of Plugins you can download and install. So we hope to see you soon as a Pro user

They are all free to registered users. You can also link videos to audio files, so every time you play that file, that video will also play. There are so many options for you, that you will say, "I'm so confused, I don't know which one to use, there are so many, there are a shitload of bunches".

As you can see i have done wot i said and have spent my hard earned pennys on this fantastic bit of software. Now just got to find out which plug ins to download and the best way to use vdj.
 
don't worry if you get stuck there's always the manual, kidding, just post your problem on the relevant forum and there will always be someone there to help, unless of course you want to borrow money, then you won't see me for dust.

i'll put a shopping list up for you and the rest of the guys can add their choices to, just to get you started...

go to top of page > downloads > plug ins > videos and select....

sonique (version 5)
video cube
video rotation
show logo
text2d
scroll text
random video transition
backdrop
random video for clipbank, (this is still waiting for release but when it is grab it, it's magic.)

you will need video clips for your already installed clipbank, if you pm me i may be able to help you with that.

i have left out a whole load of other stuff so the rest of the guys can chip in with a selection, plus it will give you an opportunity to learn more about the site... enjoy.
