i am finding virtual dj very hard

and how do you get skins without paying for them

please ansew !!!!!!!

thanks j-n-c-dj

the answer is simple... buy the software.. that is virtual dj pr..... register the software..
and u can download all the skins you want to your hearts content.. absolutely free

You only get the skins if you're a licenced user.

Simple as that!

let him rip his hair out

thanks but ive or ready ripped my hair out thanks !!! that all helped me

jnc, if i understood you correctly the amount of songs you can use/store only really depends on the amount of hard drive space you have, and unfortunately the guys are correct, you are only allowed full access to the skin section if you purchase vdj pro,

low-fat-al you had me lol all day,may be he rip some more out and when you got non left you should have money to buy the software

nice attitude from a VIP member. I feel ashamed by the way some of the regulars here treat new cats. U guys act like real assholes sometimes. Like school kids pickin on the new guy. sad. tayla is the only person who answered the question in a civil tone. If you guys r so put out by the question then don't reply. You make VDJ look bad.

I have to agree with you TD, and I've seen it's happening more and more!!!!!!..................that's one reason why I've had to have a break from here.

Sorry I don't see the responses to JNC's questions out of line. The JNC asked how to get free skins and digitalwiz and kradcliffe answered the question. Then tayla answered the second part of JNC's question. The fact JNC is busy ripping his hair out shouldn't factor into the answers to the questions posted. Having hair or not shouldn't stop anyone from using ViritualDJ :)

You two are both right. It is a strict policy of ATOMIX/VirtualDJ to treat all users with respect, whether licensed or not. All users who are not licensed are viewed as possible customers. And the community, as a whole, is an incentive for the non licensed users too be encouraged to purchasing a fully licensed version. The only people who should call out a non licensed user is a Teamer, and in extremely rare instances a moderator, and then only for bad behavior.

The first thing we are told as mods is never edit or delete a post. The second is to try and encourage all non licensed users to purchase a legitimate version of the software. I would ask all licensed users, Pro, Home,VIP or, whatever level they are, to treat the NLUs with kindness and respect. If you are not sure of a situation do not post. Also, Experienced and VIP users who feel the need to comment, ask in your respective areas of the forum and a Teamer will respond. Remember you were granted the higher rights and privileges for a reason.

I thank you for your time in reading this and hope it helps clear things up....T

If you were using a demo of the software and had no idea about how things work here and you asked a few questions and you got... "simple, buy it and the skins are free" and "let him pull his hair out", how would u feel?
Looks like maybe his english is not real good, so his wording is not the best, he had legitimate questions and got smart ass and/or rude answers, whether the answer was correct or not the tone is less than friendly. If that had been my first experience with this forum I dont know that I would return and I would not want to buy the product. digitalwiz and kradcliffe did answer the question, like assholes, and Al added nothing but insult. it is nice to assume he is demo user, which means he got the demo free, maybe he wanted free demos of the skins which aren't available but jnc doesn't know that, so he asked only to get talked down to. fun is fun, but keep that to the regs, treat new guys like a welcomed guest and be respectful. tayla gave him the facts in a friendly manner without the condesention.

I don't think digitalwiz and kradcliffe were being assholes, JNC asked how to get skins without paying but, maybe we are reading their responses differently. It doesn't sound to me like he was trying to demo skins. And if I remember correctly if you try to download skins and plugins the website alerts the end user they have to purchase the program. "To download this addon, you must buy Virtual DJ professional edition"

assume he is a demo user, that is the responsible thing to do. he got the demo free so maybe he wanted to demo the skins. just say the skins are for users of the Professional version it is not for demo, not "its simple, buy it" that is not cordial in any way.

Are you serious? You mean to tell me that you would not buy a great product, because some guy on a forum, was expressing himself the way he wants, and your feelings got hurt? That was his opinion, he does not work or represent Atomix. I would think that anyone with a little self awareness, would not let a comment from a forum user, turn them off to a great product. The bottom line is, we are all just users of this software. He is not buying the software from one of us, but the Atomix Company. Let's not confuse the two. So what if you think he's an asshole, we are all assholes to someone at some time, get over it. I can be an asshole and a jerk off at the same time, and be very good at it. This is a forum, and as such represents the world as it is, not how we wish it would be. We do not live in a world full of Dali Lamas, so let's not expect us to act like we do. We are all different, and come from different parts of the world. This is a forum, and you take the good with the bad. On a whole, this is a very respectful forum, but to try and make it pristine and all pretty is not dealing in reality. Now here's the beauty of my argument; I believe you have just as much right to your opinion, as the other guys you think are assholes. So you say what you want, they can say what they want, we don't have to like everything but the world goes on. I can tell you right now, If I let everyone that was an asshole effect my buying decisions, I would own nothing.

Except maybe your hat???????

it wasnt only one user that answered that way, two gents answered him like he was a idiot and another blew him off as irrelevant. if that was the community that came along with the product, yes, i would be put off. this is Atomix website and if they allow potential customers to be handled in such a manner it should reflect on the company.
this forum is not a representation of the world, it is a representation of Atomix.
Do you act like an ass to potential customers, even if they ask a stupid question? No, you realize they don't understand the industry, technology or whatever and you explain in a way they can understand.

We have to draw the line between fun with the guys and the business that is run from this very forum. Nothing is bought or sold from the forum but impressions are made. Treat a new uneducated user with respect, don't make him feel stupid because he is not fully aware of what goes on here and how it all shakes out.

if those guys worked for you would you want them to talk to potential customers in such a way? they don't get paid by Atomix but they use their resources here at the site so they should follow the guide lines and be nice to the newbies.

Gotta keep the hat. Gentlemen, I don't agree with everything I see on this forum, but I thought we were allowed to say what we want as long as it was not vulgar, or distasteful (I know, we have stretched that a little). However, we encounter worse in everyday life, so let's not go over the deep end, until we are forced to.
