Just wondering,
Are we ever going to see a RMX Icon in the Remote control tab of VirtualDJ config, and a similar Icon in our user profile on the forum.

it was promised three months ago mate, think someone forgot or it is just not important enough to spend any time fannying on with. lol, even if you do your own it usually gets deleted anyway. same thing with the flags of origin, there every where else on the site but where we asked for them.

That is totally uncalled for man
A new website is in development at this moment actually.
There are many things that are going to change and it made more sense to impliment them into the new site rather than modify the old one.
As for flags, that becomes a branch of political poise and is not a function of this dj forum.

rick, i know you can't say what is going on in the background, so how in the hell are we supposed to know if this was about to be implemented unless we are told, we were told that it would be done in june and the rmx came out in march.
as for the flags there is nothing polictical about it, it merely gives people an instant knowledge of where someone is from, it has been implemented on the radio forums so why not on the general forums was my question.

Or at least a little piece of Text telling the rest of the community where that user is from. I'm with you on this one Paul, what's political about that!!!!
I guess we'll have to wait and see what they come up with Tayla ;)

Its not my personal denial of this flag thing, but why the obsession with it?
The request was not approved, the ones that were created were removed.
So why are you pursuing it?
As for the RMX icon, I share the desire with you as we have users coming to eservice who look like NLU's when they are legit.
So, this is as frustrating at times for us as it is you guys that own them.
Naturally you must be careful how you treat what may appear as a NLU now.

Nothing is ever promised with dates. I told the forum users that over the summer we would be working on the website, well summer is not over.
As for Radio, that is a different environment all together and overseen by a different webmaster than here. Also the Radio forum is a great example of what could possibly be done different here. Maybe some of those features may show up here .... will have to wait and see.

In the meantime, I made an RMX wallpaper that's available in the downloads area that I find kinda cool - but that won't show up in the forums.

Who cares about the icon in the settings as long as it works with the software. Since I'm a Mac users, I've got bigger issues... spoiled PC users, lol!
