Hi ,
was wondering if anyone knows just how long it takes to resolve my issue .
I raised a ticket a week ago and it has been assigned to an analyst for a week now.
My problem all started when i upgraded to 5.2 , when i launched Vdj it prompted me to enter my serial number ,
after doing so it started to open then i got the %i protection code .
I have always upgraded since version 4.3 without any problems and never had any crack copies of Vdj on my computer.
I can't understand why i get this anti piracy error
Teamer Coyote did try to help me on this but my problem still remains.

may be best to give them a reminder as they have been busy this last week i imagine with the dj convention and only they will be able to help you on this.

Did you update to 5.2 from your own account using your username etc. or did that upgrade come from another person who also is a legal user?

could there be any chance of u using a download manager to download from the site?? and it keeps on repeating the download

I ask these questions.. not out of just curiosity.... as I stated I do understand your woes

i downloaded direct from my download centre from my own computer ,
thanks for your replies.
 

do you still have downloading privileges etc... even now......... try downloading another copy....
bear in mind also the password... when u download.. see if they are the same

Asides from.. that I fear only the teamers... etc can help you.... give me a PM anytime... I could say more there

i did a system restore back to a date prior to downloading Vdj 5.2 and it has gone back to version 5.1,
and it seems to be ok , the only problem is that whenever i try to download a cover it always comes up with no match found ? ,
don't really want to risk messing things up now, by downloading version 5.2 again,
My download centre is still there.
Version 5.1 was working fine for me , so don't know why i even tried to upgrade in the first place,
saying that thought i have upgraded since version 4.3 without any problems.
The saying ( if it ain't broke don't fix it ) truly applied in this case.

my problem is still not resolved .
Being contacting them and nothing,no response.
I think 'Assigned to analyst' means that now you are on your own.
Surely someone must be able to help me.
 

I get that before, it means they are on it.

Sorry for the wait, tickets are taken by teamers and to keep the confusion down in troubleshooting other teamers would not interfere.
For you to get a protection error on one install and not on another is odd.

Did you ever have another install, or version or someone elses software on your system?

In reading this you claim it was resolved so I dismissed it.
Then you make another post on cover art which is a different problem than the one in eservice.

If cover art is not available online, there will be none.
It might take time to find and your system naturally needs to be online.

This can be handled in eservice and I have advised your teamer.

sorry for the confusion ,
The coverflow problem is somewhat linked to the original problem .
As i said before i downloaded version 5.2 as i have done since 4.3 and never had a problem ,
i did a system restore and went back to 5.1 and since then the coverflow problem has arisen,
whenever i search for any cover it immediately returns 'no match found ' and my machine is always on line.
Always been able to download album covers before .
My problem is not resolved as i would like to upgrade to version 5.2.
never had any other installs or someone else's software on my computer,
