Topic: BCD2000 or VDJ Problem ???

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I saw this on the internet :

Quote :
My friend has a bcd2000 with virtual dj 4.3. We installed all the drivers, software, everything. Load songs into virtual dj and after about 10 seconds to sometimes a min it plays fine and all is good. Then suddenly the cd players stop. Loading new songs doesnt help, you have to close and reopen vdj. All the faders ect. work when this happens except the jog wheels. Change around the latency settings and viola your ready to play for another minute. Exchanged the bcd for a new one, same problem. Got latest drivers and same problem. BDJ works fine so it has to be a problem with virtual dj.

Everything in vdj is setup correctly and it still does this, but messing around with the latency sometimes lets it play longer.
It also does this on 3 computers so it has to be something with virtual dj.

Anybody have any solutions?

The BCD series of controllers has been a major disappointment to say the least. Behringer admitted to a bad chip set in the BCD2K. Sorry there is no fixing what your describing if you choose to use the soundcard option. Having said that, if you decide to use the BCD as only a midi controller it is pretty good. Also, there is a mapper available to licensed Pro users. Since you have been coming here since June of 07 perhaps it is time for you too support the software by purchasing a licensed version. Hope to see you as a licensed user soon! ;-)

Ok thanks 4 the tip.
I got lucky my boss bought me BCD2000 and it came with the BDJ..but i have the trial version running on my pc..i will buy the VDJ as soon i start earning real $$ to afford the software and other goodies. But meanwhile i should contribute with some Tech problems regarding the BCD2000 because im learning how to use this baby..soon i will post my videos !

Cheers

for a faw dollars more your boss could have bought you the BCD3000 which is way better
