Hi everyone,
im thinking about buying a pair of CDJ 400s to control VDJ.
Since 5.1 the CDJ is navitely supported i know, but what about the display of the CDJ 400?
Does it show the Track, Time, Bpm i've got in VDJ?
Or ist the display black and you can only read something like midi-mode while using it to control VDJ?
Thanks for your answers.....

Yes the display is fully functional when connected to VDJ - BPM, Pitch change, track title, time elapse/remain.

Hi all.
I'm currently mucking round with a couple of 400's and vdj. I'll add to the list as time goes on. Will also endevour to answer Q's anyone has.
* As stated above, display is fully functional. This also includes the title of effect being triggered coming up on 400 display, eg. Backspin.
* As stated else, latency works fairly well. Jog works fairly well although it only scratches when u have pushed down and move the jog wheel in one series of movements. Once movement has finished, the track will continue even if the jog wheel is pushed down. (badly explained, but my brains tired from 9-5 job).

are you suggesting that the CDJ-400 has a soundcard?
