I've been wondering if this was a good offer:
Numark DJ In A Box, for 1500 dkr - 200 Euro, was a good offer?
Two Turntables, a Mixer, and Headphones

Hmmm.... you get what you pay for, and for what it is, I suppose it's not bad for the money. However, you could very soon "grow out" of this system, especially if you want to get into scratching and all that hippedy-hoppedy malarkey - the turntables won't take rough use, you may be better off spending more and saving money on the upgrades in the long run!

Like djsherz said, you get what you pay for. Consider the fact that one Technics 1200 cost almost twice as much as that whole package.
If I remember correctly, those turntables are belt driven. Definitely not good for DJing. Even if you go for the cheap stuff, at least get direct drive turntables. If you plan to scratch, belt drive just aren't going to cut it (pun intended, lol!).
My first turntables were cheap Numarks. I was happy with them for about a week. Then I put my hands on the 1200's for the first time. After that, I was kicking myself for not saving a little longer to get those in the first place. My humble advice is save a little longer for the good stuff. You'll be happy you did. At the time, I paid $400 for the pair of Numarks, and spent about $1000 three months later for a pair of 1200's. The cheap stuff ended up costing me what I could've paid for a better mixer. Also, I couldn't give away the Numarks after I bought the 1200's. If you decide the 1200's and DJing isn't for you, it's much easier to unload the 1200's. They hold there value very well. Go to eBay and check out what used 1200's are going for. Then, see what a used DJ in a Box package is going for. After 10 years, my 1200's work the same as the first day I took them out of the box.
Good luck!

Okay, I've actually also been thinkin' that way.
It's just.. I have a Hercules MK2, which I got for 6 months now, and it's pretty irritatable to not having a real mixer with some turntables.
But anyway, I'am sticking to your advices.
Last question then.
Is two Technics 1200 turntables, with a Pioneer DJM 909 mixer, and Hercules MK2 as sound card good?
Or is there a better mixer or/and sound card, you could advice to? Thinkin', that I'm going to become a scratch DJ, but also a mix DJ (if you know what I mean), and a DJ that can play in club, if it's isn't the same:)

Well if you've already got your Hercules, I'd stick with that for now, at least hook it up to your turntables and mixer and give it a go, it's not the greatest soundcard on the market, but it's not bad, I've used it with timecodes before and it worked for me anyway...

The mk2, if used as a soundcard it's pretty good, if you are a non scatch DJ, who plays House and dance music, like myself, then you should be fine with it.
I used my old mk2 as a soudcard with my TCV's for about 3 months, with no problems before I brought my maya44.

Okay, but think I want to become a scratch DJ. Do I need a specified Sound card for that?

Glad to hear you're reconsidering DJ In A Box... The 1200's are the industry standard for turntables. The DJM-909 is a great battle mixer. It has all kinds of effects, adjustable crossfader resistance, and Pioneer mixers are some of the best. If you don't need all the extras of the 909, Pioneer made a DJM-404 that is the same mixer without that cool screen and effects. I'm not sure if the DJM-404 is still in production, but it's worth a try to find it. I believe it's half the cost of a 909. Either way, the 909 is a great mixer. The MK2 will work as a sound card if you're using Windows. On a Mac in version 5.2, the MK2 won't work with timecode.

Okay, found the setup I'm gonna eat, dry bread for the next two years;)
Soundcard - Native Instruments, Audio 8 DJ
Mixer – Pioneer, DJM 909
Turntables – 2 x Technics, SL-1210 Mk5
For this setup, buyed some places hear in Denmark, I'm going to pay 4923 US Dollars, which sounds fair to me:) What do you say?
