I'm guessing the 100% you're talking about is when attempting to configure timecode. Are you using a Mac or PC?

I've got the Audio 8. I get a steady 100%... Have you turned off Clear Sound? That's usually it ;)

the Audio 8 might be the best card out there right now

what turntables are you using? if your using any digital turntables like numarks ttx or x2 models that dont have a ground wire, you have to make a ground wire and attach it to the bottom of the turntable and the ground on the audio 8 to get 100% timecode! Thats what i did and the audio 8 and it works flawless for me.

xp lappy running vdj 5.1
2 numark X2 hybrid turntables
1 Korg Zero 4 midi mixer
1 N. I. audio 8 sound card

I'm using PC with Win Vista - 2 turntables Technics m5g with Ortofon Digitrak needles - with sound blaster xfi elite pro = Perfect
with traktor scratch : perfect too -

Take a screenshot of your settings?

Have you set the tracking force of your tonearm correctly? (Ortofon Digitracks require a tracking force of 3 grams if i remember correctly.) Often it also helps using the little brush to clean the needle and even disconnecting the needles and cleaning the contact point, as a little bit of dust can even disrupt some of the signal.
It's probably one of the settings in the timecode menu though, so a screeny would be nice. :)
