Topic: Hercules RMX LEDs

So I just got my RMX and everything seems to be working fine except not all the LEDs for the buttons lights up. Someone please tell me that my controller is broken and that all the LEDs do light up. Is this how it's made? I'm used to the Total Control where EQ kill would light up when activated. Did they do this to conserve current?

That's right, not all the button light's do light up. On start up about 14 or 16 light's will flash for about 15-20 secs, then go off, then as you use the RMX only about 8 buttons will light.

I think this is to keep the power consumption down of the unit, as there is no external power supply and it is only powered by USB.

 
808, that was my biggest disappointment with the rmx as well, funny how hercules kept that little bit of info out of there sales literature, would have thought twice about buying if i had known and i expect hercules realises that as well...


 
I was kind of disappointed with this also.
 
Only worry about the LED's when they start doing this on start up (Sorry about the quality btw).




This is mine and it has been doing this for a week or so. Had to do a manual firmware reset to cure the problem. If you want to know how to do a firmware reset just PM me your email address

That's good to know. I noticed mine always flashes the way yours did at first but doesn't flash on the left side only like yours did afterward. Do you have any idea what could have caused this?
 
I figured it was a power consumption issue. Skin Pros can someone come up with a video based skin that will show these missing LEDs, like the EQ kills and the 6 programmable buttons and maybe what those buttons are assigned to, please.

That's what they suppose to do on start up.

No I don't, just start doing it about a week ago, but with doing the manual reset, it's cured the problem
