Knowing nothing about Midi devices, should I be able to plug (loop) my KP2 into the Midi and out again on my Herc Mixer, and then use the KaossPad 2's effects on the music? I'm able to put the KP2 in line, on the way to the amp, and use the effects, but my understanding is that I can "Pre-listen" to the effects, before I use them live. I thought this was done via the Midi circuit? I've configured it as I would expect it to work, and nothing doing. Using Vdj 1.08, windows XP, and KP2

Wow, I'm having a chat with myself this afternoon!!! Just to modify the question above, I think what I'm looking for is an Effects send/return capability? Does the Herc have such a thing? Will it work with virtual Dj, and has it anything to do with the Midi In/Out!

im stillll waiting...=( it sux but ive gone through the proper steps but i can get vdj to open.. keep getting the same protection error i had to use my traktor dj studio this weekend since my bran new VDJ wont open for me...i did have some conflicting drivers for the sound cards at first but now its just up to you guys to make it work...i cant wait...Thomas
